Well hello! I sure am happy to see you. Why don’t you pull up a chair and sit with me for a spell so I can share all that’s been happening here in the valley.
🌿 Reflections and Growth
This is our 12th week together, and it has been a pleasure to spend this time with you. My first weeks painted images of who I am. They also opened the door to the heart of Evergreen Yuletide. I introduced you to my studio artwork, shared some friends from Evergreen Valley, and invited you into the secret garden with a monthly password. I hope you are enjoying those gifts growing in the garden.
Time can only move forward, and that’s what Evergreen Yuletide is doing this week. Occasional reflections will still be shared, but the next step is to introduce you to the studio’s work. My business plan is simple and straightforward. It is designed for you, so that your life might be a little easier, a little more organized, and a whole lot more enjoyable!
✨ Studio Offerings
Some of the products I design are inspired by my heart. Others are designed based on your needs. I always welcome your suggestions or ideas regarding a product that could help your life — and maybe help others as well.
Much of my art is created by hand, but some of the bigger images require a skill I’ve not yet attained. In those cases, my art is inspired by words as I craft very specific and detailed prompts to shape an image that an AI generator can attempt to produce. Sometimes, it takes many iterations of a prompt before the generated image matches what I envisioned.
This week, my goal was to create and list a new item in my Evergreen Yuletide shop on Etsy. Mission accomplished! My 14‑day Seashore Reflection Journal is now listed, complete with a bonus sheet of seashore embellishments.
🌟 Tiered Strategy
With each new product, I want to ensure accessibility for everyone. That’s why I’m introducing a three‑tier structure:
- Base tier: A simple downloadable version, high quality yet affordable.
- Standard tier: The same high‑quality download with an added extra.
- Premium tier: A high‑quality download plus handcrafted extras, often limited in number.
This tiered approach ensures that anyone who has a need for a product can find something within their budget. In the future, certain items will also be offered as physical products, crafted here in the studio.
🐾 Seasonal Creations
Speaking of seasons, the beach season is in full swing here in the Northern Hemisphere, but it is also time to start designing unique and useful items for the coming seasons of life. With that in mind, it won’t be long before the big box stores and online sites begin pushing those dreaded back‑to‑school advertisements.
I was never in a hurry to have summer end, and I was blessed to have a mom who was so happy to have us home. This week I began creating Lunchbox Notes. I’ve crafted multiple backgrounds by hand, and with the four dogs from the valley already revealed — plus a couple of valley embellishments — I’ve created a set of 30 notes. One set is for early elementary students and the second set is designed for upper elementary students. It’s a simple way to let your child know you are always with them in thought as well as heart.
I hope to have them listed before you read this post, but if not, they will be soon. Next week, I should have a link at the bottom of my page that will take you to my Etsy shop. I’d love for you to stop in and browse in the near future, and if there’s something you need that you don’t see there, please send me a message. I love trying to create something beautiful based on somebody’s need or suggestion.
🌼 Evergreen Valley Update
So much is evolving here at the studio. Evergreen Valley’s presence is growing with each puzzle piece and each dog who is revealed. In next week’s post, I will share more of that vision with you — it’s too exciting to keep to myself.
